First quilting attemp

Jill suggested that I should make quilts for "Brother" and "Sister" since my Mom is no longer here to make quilts for the new babies that come into our lives.  My first attempt was the pink quilt, and then I did the blue one.  They were easy patterns with clear directions.  There are a few mistakes but I am quite pleased with my first attempts.   Now that the quilts are done,  Jill and Joel can get their new babies from Ethiopia any time!

This one was called Snap Shots

This was called Yellow Brick Road but I changed the colors.

  1. Momma- Those are awesome quilts! Thank you so much for making them. I can't wait to hold your grandkids in those blankets. I know that the kids will treasure them forever, as will I! You are the best!
